The Kings’ home has touches of Belgian farmhouse mixed with simple, traditional elegance and modern colors. The overall design can be described as light, colorful, and clean with a mix of textures and patterns. This combination makes the space visually interesting without being overwhelming. Most of the items were custom, and all were purchased through Bella Vici or from local vendors, including art by Ashley and Nora Whiteside, a mother-daughter duo from Oklahoma, and wood accessories by JL Woodworx.
We were approached with the project during the design of the home's plan. The Kings purchased a stock plan and we sat down with them and altered it for a better flow. We selected everything on the interior and exterior including the brick, lighting, paint colors, furniture, curtains, and tile.
The project was hands down one of our favorites for two reasons: one because it was so soft and subtle with touches of traditional but in modern colors, and two because the client was so easy and amazing to work with. Cool clients always make for a better project!
Here's what Carissa and Garrett King had to say about our work and the project in general: "Bella Vici was an affordable, hassle-free lifesaver during our house construction project. Paige and her team were wonderful to work with and are absolutely at the top of the design game."
